Meteorology for Pilots April 7th, 2009

Whilst rummaging around in some discarded items that were abandoned at a daycare that closed down over a year ago, strange scenario right, I happened across this old book/manual titled 'Meteorology for Pilots'. Not really caring about the actual contents I quickly skimmed through and found a wealth of visual information just waiting to be tapped. So, I managed to secure the book and bring it home, and started scanning. Tons and tons of maps, charts, and other diagrams provided some very cool inspirational bits. What I like the most is the weathered, old, and discolored paper inside. I scanned the cover and turned it into a useable texture. If anyone would like a high-res version of that and some other textures that I am already creating based on the contents of the book, just email me.

Enjoy, and be Inspired!
