I'm not always a fan of 3D animation for commercial motion graphics work. It's easy to be unoriginal or mundane, easy to copy the last guys, etc. But the folks over at 'Nylon' are tearing it up with some quality 3D work from their portfolio. It really is impressive, and their detail for typography is quite nice. Put some on, and take a look-see at their portfolio.
